I am clearly being pretty hopeless :-) I uploaded my photo but kept it private whilst I tried to get a music link sorted so I could also post this to 'Sight and Sound'. And, I have just looked at the screen again and noticed I hadn't made the photo visible to Everyone! I am really am hopeless :-) Photo should now be available to be viewed :-)

Danke Heide, ich finde, solche ehemaligen Eisenbahnstrecken sind immer sehr angenehm, die Wege sind eben und schön von Vegetation eingerahmt. Ein sonniges Wochenende.

A wonderful use for the defunct railway line. They are doing that in some areas here too.

As a railway enthusiast I prefer railways to remain railways but if they are closed this I the best result. A lovely photo on a lovely day.

Thanks Pete, I too would have preferred that there were still railways here, but the SNCF decided at the end of the last century to remove all the small lines. What remains are the old stations and old postcards from a bygone era. Take a look here, there is a good example.. Have a nice weekend.

Das sind so schöne Möglichkeiten Rad zu fahren, weil sie immer eben verlaufen. Hier auch eine Einladung zu wandern! HFF Christa!

Danke Ria, genau aus diesem Grund liebe ich sie auch;-)) Dies war nur eine kleine, ca. 50 km lange Strecke. Ich bin sie schon oft mit dem Rad abegfahren, und es macht immer wieder Spass. EIn schönes Wochenende.

Thanks Isabel. Nobody needs to beware: since it's in the middle of the countryside there are never too many people and everyone takes care of each other... This is what I experienced every time (and I often go there on foot or by bicycle). Have a nice weekend.

Looks very similar to re-used railway trails here Christa'.. which I suppose it will (˚◡˚) always good for exploring - preferably by cycle though for a speedier explore,. // Have a good weekend - keep well and a HFF from Dj.

Thanks David. This railway line was only about 50 km long, and you're absolutely right, the best way to travel it is by bike (I do it often). But a walk is also pleasant here. Have a nice weekend.
