Diese Aufnahme entstand in einem fränkischen Schutzgebiet. Die Sträucher und Bäume waren weitgehend mit Raureif überzogen und die aufgehende Sonne ließ die Landschaft im Gegenlicht aufleuchten. This photo was taken in a Franconian nature reserve, where hoar frost covered most of the bushes and trees. As the sun rose, it cast a warm glow over the landscape, creating a beautiful contrast against the light.

Die Fruchtschoten des Silberblatts (Lunaria annua) haben längst ihre Samen verloren. Nur noch die papierdünne Scheidewand der Schoten ist übrig und glänzt silbrig im Gegenlicht. Der Überzug mit Raureif verleiht den Pflanzen ein geheimnisvolles Aussehen. Jetzt im Winter rollen sich die Blätter des Tüpfelfarns (Polypodium vulgare) nach oben und zeigen die prächtige Unterseite mit den orangeroten Sporenträgern ("Sori"). Und wenn sich dann noch Eiskristalle darauf absetzen, entsteht ein schönes Kunstwerk. Dieser Tüpfelfarn besiedelt schon seit Jahren meine Mülltonnenbox. Er braucht überhaupt keine Pflege. Diese winterliche Kunstwerk entdecke ich heute Morgen in meinem Garten und fotografierte bei tiefen Minusgraden mit klammen Fingern diesen alten Fruchtstand eines Hibiskus-Strauchs, der mit feinen Eisnadeln bedeckt war. Diesen Baumstumpf entdeckte ich in einem Eichenmischwald. Verschiedene Pilzarten (braunrote Hutpilze und weiße PIlzkrusten) haben den Baumstumpf besiedelt. Ihr Mycel durchzieht das Totoholz und baut es ab. Zusätzlich leben auf dem Baumstumpf noch Algen und Moose, sogar Efeu hat sich festgekrallt. Ein vielfältiger Lebensraum! I came across this tree stump in a mixed oak forest, where it has become a thriving microhabitat. Different fungi, including brown-red cap varieties and white species, have colonized, their mycelium spreading through the dead wood and aiding in its decomposition. The stump is also home to algae and mosses, while ivy has begun to climb its surface. A remarkable example of ecological diversity!

Diesen relativ kleinen zitronengelben Lamellenpilz fand ich auf einem am Boden liegenden toten Ast. Nach meiner Bestimmung handelt es sich dabei wahrscheinlich um den seltenen Zitronengelben Erlenschüppling (Pholiota alnicola) . Die "Eiszeit" verwandelt manches dürre Laubblatt in ein kleines Kunstwerk. Frost transforms many dry leaves into intricate natural patterns, resembling small works of art.

Der Winter verzaubert nicht nur Landschaften, sondern auch Lebewesen, so wie diesen Fruchtstand einer Großen Klette (Arctium lappa). Für mich sieht sie aus wie das Vorderteil eines mystischen Insekts. Oder nicht? Winter enchants not only landscapes but also living beings, such as this syncarp of a greater burdock (Arctium lappa). Dieser Pilz gilt in Bayern als vom Aussterben bedroht. Erstmals gefunden wurde er von mir letztes Jahr und wieder an der gleichen Stelle dieses Jahr. Der Fundort befindet sich in einem fränkischen Mittelwald in Unterfranken. Mittelwälder waren früher sehr weit verbreitet und sind heute nur noch selten in Deutschland anzutreffen. Sie gelten als sehr artenreich. I found it for the first time last year and again this year in the same place. Der goldene Schriftzug über dem Eingangstor (siehe Foto) besagt: "Das Juliusspital für Arme, Preßhafte (übersetzt: Gebrechliche) und Kranke". Das Juliusspital ist Bestandteil der Juliusspital-Stiftung, die 1579 gegründet wurde. Sie hat alle Kriege überdauert und ist bis heute voll funktionsfähig. Fast unglaublich!
