macht den Eindruck, daß zunächst ein 12.000 PS-Diesel auf ein Fahrgestell gesetzt wurde - und dann merkten sie, da fehlt ein Führerstand ;-)

Kommt sicher aus den USA........da denke ich mir das oft.
Edit: Ich glaube, das ist eine EMD G8 von "General Motors Diesel" bzw. "Electro-Motive Diesel", gebaut von 1954 bis 1965. Diese hier stammt also sicher aus den 1950ern.
