Lighting: 2 x Walimex Niova 150 with light shaper at 3,200 K colour temperature.
(Note what the X-T50 still performs at ISO 6400.)

Auch gedacht, um den entsprechenden Content auf ipernity ein bisschen anzufetten. Das Genre ist bei ipernity nämlich so mager wie ein Muckefuck mit Hafermilch.

However, the lighting could be optimized a little to soften the somewhat harsh contrasts in the right half of the portrayed person's face.

Du hast recht: Bei Porträts wird oft weiches Licht bevorzugt, um die Person vorteilhafter und jünger wirken zu lassen.

In diesem Fall haben wir (das Model und ich) uns jedoch bewusst für eine mutigere Beleuchtung entschieden – das sogenannte Rembrandt-Licht. Mit einem gerichteten Hauptlicht, schräg von oben links, wollten wir dem Porträt mehr Tiefe und Plastizität verleihen. Gleichzeitig haben wir die Schattenseite aufgehellt, um eine harmonische Balance zu schaffen.

Probeaufnahmen mit weicherem Licht wirkten nämlich, nach Einschätzung des Models, unnatürlich jung. Diesen Eindruck wollten wir vermeiden.
