Sea of Sesimbra, juvenile Minke Whale trapped by a fishing net (1)
photographed by Cristina Brito
......................................................
This damaged whale was observed by a scientific team belonging to the Escola de Mar / School of Sea, on the past 14th March, very close to the coast, alone, with high breathing frequency and slow and evasive movement. Wounds and scraps of cables and pieces of fishing net are visible at his dorsal zone.
