2016-Venezuela
This album is dedicated to traveling to Venezuela in October 2016 with a group of friends. From Caracas to National Parque of Canaima, we flew by plane, and then moved on Jeeps, on Boats and on Feet. We visited Angel Falls - the world's highest uninterrupted waterfall, with a height of 979 metres (3,211 feet).

The local Pemon Indians call it Matawi Tepui, but it is widely known as the Kukenan, because it is the source of the Kukenan River. In the Pemon language it means a “place of the dead”. Mount Kukenan is located next to Mount Roraima in Venezuela

Mount Roraima is the highest of the Pakaraima chain of tepui plateaus in South America. Its 31-square-kilometre (12-square-mile) summit area is bounded on all sides by cliffs rising 400 metres (1,300 ft). First described to Europeans by the English explorer Sir Walter Raleigh during his expedition in 1595. The mountain also serves as the tripoint of Venezuela, Guyana and Brazil.

To climb Roraima, you can take a jeep to the settlement of Paraitepuy, from where you have to walk about 26 km. First, 12 km to the intermediate camp at the Tek River, then 10 km to the base camp and another 4 km through the jungle to the southern wall of Roraima.
