DARGAHs & TURBEs
A DARGAH is an Islamic shrine built over and around the tomb of an eminent person. The deceased person might be a saint (often a SUFI saint, or a dervish), or some other revered person.
Dargahs are similar to the Turkish Türbe, many of which can still be found in the parts of Europe that were once occupied by the Ottomans.
