View from the ferry Mar d'Canal, during the trip between Cape-verdean islands of São Vicente and Santo Antão. This one is the largest and the north-westernmost of the archipelago and has no airport; it had one for small airplanes, with a 600 metres runway, but it was closed after an accident in 1999. A new airport is planned to be achieved, south of Porto Novo.
