Als die Linie 2 noch nicht bei Bauhaus stand, bin ich mit ihr gefahren - bis Mitte der 1970er Jahre.

Doerthe ^club

Von 1953 an erlebte ich die '2' jeden Tag alle paar MInuten. Sie hielt damals sogar noch vor unserem Haus an und quietschte moerderisch, wenn sie von der Grindelallee auf uns zukam. Spaeter wurde die Haltestelle auf die Hoheluftbruecke verlegt. Ich wuchs auf am Grindelberg 86, ein paar Schritte vom Isemarkt entfernt.

Als ich 1980 nach Hamburg kam, war die Strassenbahn in HH schon lange Geschichte.

Dieses Museumsstueck steht in einem Baumarkt an der Kollaustrasse, an gleicher Stelle war frueher ein Tram-Depot, in das spaeter eben dieser Baumarkt eingezogen ist. Vor einigen Jahren hat man ueber die alten Hallen einen Neubau errichtet, einen Rest der alten Halle (Dachkonstruktion) kann man am oberen Bildrand noch erkennen.
