This is so fascinating Gudrun and two lovely shots here. What a beautiful backdrop to this interesting wall and I love the close up. I can imagine them walking around intoning these mantras one after another. I love a photo with a story and this really delivers that as well as being beautiful.

Every day on IP is a school day.............and this is the "something new" I've learned today. Such a lovely images and a well researched narrative. I like everything about your main image from the gorgeous sky to the wonderful detail in the wall and the prayer flags and stones on top of the wall.

The close up view of the one of the stones and the colourful script is excellent..!!
