Strathtay

Leyland National 2 registration WBW 735X in the colours of Strathtay Scottish, a company it never worked for.
The bus was delivered new in 1982 to the Atomic Energy Authority at Harwell, Oxfordshire, where it stayed until 2011.
It was eventually purchased for preservation in 2014 by the Taybus Vintage Vehicle Society, who took the opportunity to paint the vehicle in the livery of Strathtay Scottish, to mark their 30th anniversary. Seen here on display at Whitehaven during the Leyland National 50 event.

This machine spent most of it’s working life based at Warrington.
