Monarch Airlines
On that rare swelteringly hot day in Duxford, I recommend sitting on this bench and requesting that they fire up the props for a bit of fan-action.
Formerly operated by BOAC and British Eagle but retains the colors of its last operator, Monarch Airlines. Donated to the society by Monarch Airlines and flown to Duxford in 1975.
This photo was taken by a Kowa Super 66 medium format film camera and Kowa 1:4.5/110 lens with a Zenza Bronica 67mm SY48•2C(Y2) filter using Kodak 400 TRI-X film, the negative scanned by an Epson Perfection V600 and digitally rendered using Photoshop.
