Bitter Sweet

Easter is not only a solemn religious occasion, but it also is a much anticipated children’s holiday with a parent-inspired fantasy of a magical rabbit hiding colorful eggs to be hunted and collected. Chocolate bunnies and eggs abound in this joyous time. This year, however, has been spoiled by an unprecedented pandemic. The feeling is bitter sweet, indeed.

This photo was taken by a Kowa/SIX medium format film camera with a KOWA LENS-S 1:3.5/150mm lens using Kodak Portra 400 film, the negative scanned by an Epson Perfection V600 and digitally rendered with Photoshop.
