Church Street, Chiswick

I didn't realise Chiswick was so pretty. It doesn't sound very pretty.

Only this conservation area down by the river is pretty. The rest (apart from Chiswick House and grounds and Hogarth's house) is suburbia.

Today was the sort of day on which under normal circumstances I'd have gone on a day-trip to somewhere nice. But after my session at Charing Cross, rather than head straight home I decided to walk from Hammersmith to Kew, mostly along the river and via Chiswick Mall - here. I'd been there before but never photographed it. Because it was unplanned, I had no camera on me but my (old) iPhone. But it did a reasonable job.
