A very familiar sight Nick. I can remeber my dad ploughing fields when I was young, - there was always a steady stream of opportunistic birds behind the tractor. His tractor was a lot more basic than this though!

Following the plough. Gulls are great opportunists. Some of the tractors that go through our village are like juggernauts. The roads round here are just not built to take such loads.
When will the HS2 junction see some positive action do you think?

Good morning dear LGM/ There is no HS2 junction as such. Firstly I had missed off the number 17 which is the nearest M25 road junction to the area west of it by a few miles at the point HS2 tunnels underneath the M25 at the start of a very long tunnel under the Chilterns including Chalfont St Peter and on to Amersham and beyond.
I wish you a happy 2024 and whilst hoping it will be a peaceful year for all of mankind, that seems an ambition too far
