HFF from the path by the Scout Camp CSP

I envy you your country walks!
A lovely shot and HFF!!
Has this scouts / guides camp been there a long time? I remember a girl at work, many years ago, regaling us with all sorts of going's on, such as raids on the scount camp at night by the girl guides, despite the supposedly strong security between the two!
It might have been in another part of the country but she was local (well, Pinner anyway) so it might well have been here!

The camp has been there for many years Andy, it has just grown and grown as more monies were bequeathed. It is within a day's walk of Pinner. I expect that they still get up to all sorts of fun ~~~

Yes strange how we all get used to the fabulous April weather ~ the best on record apparently this year. Now we are back to heavy rain, I got fairly damp yesterday even with a brolly and water resistant top.
So now are back to normal perhaps, wet, wet and sprinkles of sunshine. Hey ho. Enjoy your weekend ~~~

I can just imagine the shenanigans going on in the wigwams. ;-)))

By the time I knew what shenanigans meant, I'd left the scouts. I can only remember one time when they lets us scouts and the girl guides get together in a school hall. We all gazed at each other and giggled. The only knots we tied were Turk's Head. If only one could go back in time :))))

A very nice picture, and a nice looking path too..

I remember the days when there used to be a guides and scouts camp near Criccieth.. They never mixed them up on the same weeks!!!
And the 'big girl' guides used to sneak off into town after dark..!
