In fact there are only two fences.. Outside and inside.. When you walk on to it you can hold one in your left hand and one in your right, and keep walking!

As i have said to a couple of people above, there is only one walkway, with a fence on each side.. And the upside down bit is fenced off for obvious reasons!

Perhaps if they had added a twist (like a Möbius strip) into the upside down bit that nobody could get to, that would really make you think!

Hi Peter, a curvaceous set of fences here indeed. I must admit to being slightly perplexed as to what it really is. Logic says its a roller-coaster but if so, what and why are those two people upright on the top of here. Star attributed. ☼

This was built for fun, as a pedestrian walkway, although it looks like it might be a roller coaster. For obvious reasons you can't walk the upside down bit, but you can everywhere else. Just as Erhard guessed in this picture www.ipernity.com/doc/2247998/47187628

It is there for people to walk on (free of charge), and enjoy the view of Duisburg. Certainly I walked on it too. The upside down bit is gated off for obvious reasons.

This was the first morning in Germany, and a nice hot sunny day (just like most of the others..)
It sits on top of a hill overlooking Duisburg and is for amusement only. You can walk everywhere, except the upside down bit (for obvious reasons!).
