Thank you! You are sort of right, the grey Ferguson at the back (which Nick has helpfully identified) aint going anywhere, and neither if the big Fowler traction engine. If you look closely, you will see a steel rope from the Fowler, it is one of a pair pulling a plough back and forth across the field. The Fordson (and plough) are just about to start their work.

You might well be right. I did have a list of all the tractors there present, but this one wasn't listed.
Unfortunately I don't know as much about tractors as I do about sheep....!!!

Thank you so much for visiting this old farming scene. The very old days of two traction engines ('Sunrise' and 'Sunset') pulling the plough back and forth across the field, harvesting the hay, and the good traditional milk maids! I am sure there are many paintings and jigsaw puzzles around depicting these scenes!
