Evening light and a silvery sea from St Agnes Head

Taken from the same spot as the previous post, different view and separated by time of day and ten years!
Miracle of miracles! 1) I found an hour of 'me' time and drove to the coast here. First time in 2 and a half weeks of being in Cornwall that I actually set eyes on the sea! 2) My phone camera actually allowed this one shot to be uploaded onto my laptop !

I never expected to be here but I received a new covid vaccine designed for immuno-compromised people with co-morbities such as me and so I'm here to support my mother while my father recovers in rehab after a stroke. My mother is still competant at many things but gets confused from time to time and needs support through a difficult time.

Great to hear that you made it to the sea at last Andy............and that your Dad is recovering. I hope your Mum is OK too, with your support.

This is a cracking shot mate..................despite (or perhaps because of) that threatening sky, the light is very attractive, especially where it's reflected on the water. The darker foreground makes a great contrast.

Well worth viewing large for the extra detail in the foreground..!!

Oh you had the same weather as we did. Great eh???? I'm so glad to hear that your dad is recovering in rehab after his stroke. This picture is amazing - with the ominous sky overhead. It's good too, that you were able to take this picture. It must have felt amazing, driving back to the sea after so long. I miss the sea so much, but I tend to watch the webcam of Westward Ho! which allows me to see the sea, if not actually BE there.
