Everything looks so clean and fresh there.

That's deceptive, Jean. The city cleaners have been on strike over PPE for them in cleaning suspect stuff, and I can't say I blame them! So in fact a walk today sees one traipsing through three months of rubbish. Even dog owners don't bother to do the right thing! so every walk is an obstacle course.

Fences and cranes.... Living in cities is ... special! HFF Andy, cuidate.

I would have to agree that the word 'progress' covers a multitude of sins Andy. You have captured this image beautifully though. Good composition and framing and the light is lovely.

A crane blew over in high winds in London the other day. Sadly, one fatality and several injured. Not the same type of crane is this photo, but it makes you wonder how safe they really are. www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-england-london-53339296

My Dad narrowly missed being killed by a falling crane in London as a medical student in the early 50s, when much of central London was still a bomb site. Several fatalaties and injuries and as a medical man, he had to get involved. He recalled it as being 'a very messy business'.

The white cranes (white for a reason!) are demolishing Real Madrid's stadium. A new one will be put in its place. I saw the designs and saw a complete travesty. The traditional stadium was a real beauty! The presidant of the club (who just so happens to own the construction company involved, should hang his head in shame!
