Have a good weekend, well as much as one can these days, Cornwall looks good whatever the weather ~ All the best ~ Nick
caught in an atmosphere where the flowing of time has stopped as if by enchantment.
H.A.N.W.E to you Andy!
Keep well and safe. Herb
Have a wonderful weekend too, and stay well!
Have a nice weekend.
Andy Rodker club has replied to Fred Fouarge clubIn Pano I had another editing tool and you may have seen this there, although I don't think so.
Yes, I have posted dozens of other shots of this iconic place, but I was never satisfied with it until now, so I didn't post it.
Wally,
Thank you both!
Andy Rodker club has replied to tiabunna clubBetween 1750 and 1870, Cornwall was the world centre for the mining of tin, copper, arsenic and many others. When new, cheaper, mines were opened in the Far East, Central America, Australia, Canada, etc, the Cornish mines were rapidly eclipsed and thousands of Cornish miners emigrated all over the world taking their mining expertise with them. It's why you have many Cornish surnames in all the mining centres of the world!
A very nice picture, which I like a lot.
I think these old mine ruins are so atmospheric!
Fantastic colours
Wonderful composition
Best Wishes, and stay safe!!
Peter
Udo,
Peter,
Very many thanks!
Andy Rodker club has replied to Yves LurolYou too stay very safe. We who have pre-existing conditions must be very careful.
Especially as I see so many idiots out there who are disobeying common sense. And they are breaking the law but the police can't do anything because there are too many of these selfish (and to my mind, murderous) arseholes out there for them to arrest and fine all of them!
I feel very strongly about this!
