"My shoe got in the water."

A tiny video from an old phone, about 2011.
It's at Diamond Lake, west of Klamath Falls, a
favorite campground for several generations.

Is this a play called "Mizukiri" in my country?

Mizukiri is a game of throwing a stone with spin toward the water surface to make it skip over the water, sometimes competing how many times the stone skips.

Yes, exactly! We just call it "skipping rocks (or stones)." It takes a lot of practice to get it right! ;-b

Childhood is loads of fun, if you're lucky! I remember these simple pleasures very fondly. Now, both kids are glued to their phones, but I'm not sure how much fun they're having. ;-o
