Yes, and quite a strong flavor because it's made with molasses. That is an old-fashioned very dark syrup made from raw sugar before it is refined.

Haha - that must have been an entertaining discussion. Yes, I know many of those differences, just have never heard of "biccies." In my mind it would be pronounced bissies, which made no sense to me. Hey, Australia is a whole other case, entirely! Very creative, down there. ;-b
