As we still hear daily about the war in the Ukraine and the Gaza area we are reminded that lessons still have to be learned. Maybe some world political leaders should take a closer look at this!

Unfortunately, the world is currently moving more and more in a dictatorial direction! Even in democratic countries. That is very worrying! Apparently even the USA wants a tough dog (and criminal!) as president!

Always good that my images have an effect on you Keith. On seeing the figure it looked quite startling to me too. It was the first time I had seen one at this particular spot.
I too saw part of the service. Always moving, maybe it should be mandatory watching for everyone.

Wonderful photograph. We watched all the Remembrance Services Sunday and in Paris on the 11th though it was confusing that TV tried to cover so many UK venues at once after that.

We remember them.
