Enjoy a scene from the very top of Britain. Only a few miles from Cape Wrath our most north westerly point on the British mainland. Taken on our our trip up here in 2014 and this scene captured at dusk.

Wow! Such wonderful light and the colours in the sky and on the surface of the water are really beautiful.

The distant hills look really lovely and I love the dark foreground. Superbly composed and taken sir!

I have lately read some books by Peter May and am currently watching the whole of the Shetland TV series so I am pining for this untouched wild northern coastline. Great that you can enjoy this stunning light and landscape with me too Keith.

It was a wonderful corner of Scotland Gordon. It was on this day that I could see it was going to be a nice sunset and so I drove the 10 miles or so along empty roads to this scene that we had passed earlier in the day and noted. A few very nice shots taken here.
