You created a platform so unique among photo sharing sites that members wanted to save it from extinction.

I want to say that even though negotiations took longer than expected and were a lot more difficult than many of anticipated, we should rejoice in the favorable outcome.

I also want to add that Christophe Ruelle was an honorable and effective negotiating partner. Even though at times we had significant differences in opinion and approach, like everyone at IMA, Mr. Ruelle always had the best interests of the Ipernity platform at heart. And I thank him for the role he played in creating this unique site that is precious to all of us and look forward to a smooth transition.

At the same time, it is sad frustrations and emotions can often result in harsh statements. I know I have seen some statements that were also quite negative towards IMA especially in the beginning of the process when no one knew who we were. This is understandable since people had no record to go on and were frustrated by the pace of things. As we at IMA never took it personally, I hope you (Mr. Ruelle) did not either.

As today marks a new beginning, I am heartened to see how today's comments contrast greatly with yesterday's. I also appreciate the gratitude everyone has extended to Mr. Ruelle for his efforts since it was not easy for him and he has worked exceptionally hard on his part to ensure IMA receives a viable platform with a bright, long-term future.

Christophe j'ai passé de nombreuses années avec ipernity et je ne pouvais me résoudre a voir ce site disparaître....Tu en étais un des créateur, et en aucun cas je n'ai douté de l'issue de ces transactions .....tu ne pouvais pas ""tuer"" ton bébé ! par contre,je savais aussi que les tractations seraient difficile car il te fallait avoir un accord de tous ceux qui ont financé Ipernity ! et là, la partie fut rude ......j’espère que tu resteras membre de l'IMA et que tu pourras aider cette jeune association......et je souhaite longue vie à I M A

Thank you for accepting members association as a worthy option to save Ipernity.

It is easy for people to forget we wouldn't even be here without you ;-)

I guess people (including me) easily becomes prejudice when they do not get enough information. I hope we all could now start the process of healing, and start to work together, to keep Ipernity saved also in the future.

Sorry if at this moment I do not have much time to follow the evolution of the situation, but from the last comments it seems to me that everything is fine. I also thank all the people who committed themselves and pledge to rescue Ipernity, but also those who care to keep me up to date. I am also from Panoramio and I've been thinking of Ipernity the best that can be in other sites.

So happy it has worked out! Thanks to all who put in their time and effort. I'm sure any negative comments during the course of the process was due more to frustration than anything else. Again thanks to all.

The frustration is true, because when you are helpless in the face of an accident and very easy to fall into this, even if you have to trust who's working.
Still thank you to everyone, because what I hear about hopes is more concrete.

What wonderful news. I along with so many other ipernity members are grateful for your efforts in helping to ensure that this community will continue to be our home!

Much hard work on both sides made this possible.

How refreshing to know that despite the language differences & legal requirements from both countries that those working together were able to reach a favorable outcome. If only the world could experience more of these "working together" experiences.

Please be assured that those unkind comments that were made were certainly uncalled for. So sorry you had to deal with them.
