Hopefully this is someone who has undertaken to pay for friends donations who have zip problems paying themselves for them to re-imburse the good friend

I think there is a possibility to withdraw the money.
I don't see the point to do fake donation but we never know .
Maybe it is donation for people without bank card like suggested.
Anyway, it needs to be investigated.

Il permettrait de maintenir ipernity jusqu'en 2018 et de laisser plus de temps à la construction du projet de reprise.

C'est donc bien ce que je crains: il faudra repayer pour maintenir Ipernity en vie jusqu'en 2018 ... puis encore repayer pour assurer le rachat d'Ipernity par IMA ... sans aucune idée des sommes à prévoir !!! Après tout cela Ipernity pourra PEUT-ETRE vivre avec les cotisation des membres !!!
Ce sera donc sans moi, avec beaucoup de regrets, mais j'aime bien savoir où je vais !

En toute hypothèse, je pense que les dirigeants d'Ipernity sont un peu trop gourmands. N'aurait-il pas été possible, de leur part, d'augmenter légèrement le montant de la cotisation 'club' pour rester compétitif au regard des sites concurrents ?

Some folks may be donating privately from FB maybe. Also some folks have donated twice to make up for shortfalls. I think the large donation though it's possibly someone who has paid for others who are having problems with zip codes

That is what strikes me. because alot of people have problems with zip codes ( Here in Ireland we call them post codes. I had not problem but I know others who could not donate because their code was not accepted by the site

Yes and the fact that it won't accept Paypal is also making it difficult for some.

The fact that we've come this far is truly amazing, just amazing!

However, as others have pointed out there has been some strange activity with regards donations over the last day or so.

A single person who has called themselves soca.jorge1986 has donated $3,862. Now that in itself would be more amazing than necessarily suspicious, but they have committed that figure to the fund via 18 separate donations.

Now that seems very, very odd to me. And the figures are equally odd: $154 in one entry and $99 in another whereas I think most people would have rounded those figures up. Let's hope they are genuine, but let's also not get carried away.

I hope the matter will indeed be investigated and that both Team Ipernity and the IMA will make a statement as soon as they can as to the validity of these donations.

For the moment though, please keep the faith, keep donating (if you can) and keep spreading the word as much as you possibly can.

If it is fraud, then we have much farther to go to reach the goal. Hopefully folks who may be holding back on donations will not decide their donation is not needed if they think the goal has been reached when it may actually be $3,000 short.

Je pense que selon les résultats de l'enquête, les 2/3 des 1400 et quelques personnes ayant répondu acceptaient de contribuer. Ce qui signifie qu'il en manque toujours.
Ceci dit, c'est une bonne chose qu'IP ait envoyé un mail à tout le monde car certains utilisateurs ne viennent pas tous les jours et peuvent donc ne pas être au courant de la souscription.

In short there can be someone testing which stolen credit card numbers work. However, the amounts paid are strangely high for just testing stolen credit card numbers, and there can be also some other explanation.

Both Ipernity S.A. and IMA are investigating the issue and have contacted Indiegogo:

It may take till Monday before this becomes investigated by Indiegogo. But no need to worry, the service by Indiegogo itself is still safe to use, and we are just few thousand dollars behind from what the statistics now says.

If it was as is suspected a nasty person busy testinng stolen information he is less than proffesional at his illegal work therebye giving hiself away and risking all his stolen card info being cancelled.

Le site est sécurisé. Je viens de vérifier mon compte : il a été débité normalement. J'aurais préféré que la plateforme me laisse choisir la devise, mais ce n'est qu'un début. Quant aux transactions multiples du sieur jorge.soca1986, j'espère qu'Indiegogo va rapidement tirer ce cas au clair.

Now if I may say:

So we do not expect it to be only 1/3 to do so with € 50, but they do also all subscribers to the Club, with a lot less! I not in fact understand why everyone is dear Ipernity and regret if you were to close and then expect others who give to be done. You can understand (up to a certain point) non-subscribers who do not have availabe resources(but only those), but not those who are and always subscribed means that could afford it.

Trusting still some hope, have to all a nice week.

Since we are garnering interest from outside Ipernity - I'm hoping that the "odd" donations are be someone who is wanting to help. I for one will not question the amounts until they are proved wrong.

Either way, we can get to where we need to go - we are a strong group of people!!
