We have already got all these flowers in our garden, so spring is in the air!

This was so exciting but not at all easy to take photographs. There were so many people and one had to look after the camera as well! But what beauty there!

Carnival has started in Menton and I went yesterday for the "corso". The weather was beautiful and so it was a huge sucess. It was crowded and people come from all over the world. It is the only carnival where oranges and lemons are used to make up the chariots. It's unique! It was not easy to get photos as one had to pay attention about the background, seeing that there were so many people there, not excluding the fact that you can be pushed accidently as well! It was a dull day as you can see from the clouds, but I like the mimosa against the grey of the clouds, which brings it out better!

I look after Mahé every Wednesdays, so try to teach him how to paint. This is what happened last Wednesday.

These were taken on the beach and I just couldn't get over the lovely colours on the beach reflected by the sky!

These were taken from the other side of the bay of Menton. I wanted to show the movement of the pine trees there and the light in the late evening is lovely.

It was a lovely sunny day and looked like spring, but very cold! These were a few photos I took with a wide angle lens to try it out!

This painting was an order It was ordered by the boy in the centre of the painting. He wanted to seize this instant of his life as he was so happy. He was in college with his two friends and they were having a drink in the old town of Nice. The boy on the right is my son Nicolas. I was asked to respect the resemblance of the the three boys, but I could do what I wanted in the background. It was not easy to take good photos, as I kept having to look at the backgrounds! They are nice memories though for the family and that's what is more important!

Looks really easy, but it's so difficult to get good shots of a three year old!
