After what seems a very long break in updates, a large number of new images are to be uploaded, starting this month (July 2015) covering work on various projects; mainly the NER 7-compartment carriage, Miller Fifer and the Peterhead Convict Van. Other images are about a range of past work and more personal activities like holiday trips, events and companion animals. Recent uploads have, amongst a number of wildlife and other subjects, included the more recent work-based project images. There will be a few further additions made in the next couple of days, after I've done the keywords etc. Some will show up as group contributions. The restoration / rebuild of the Peterhead Quarry Railway Convict Van continues; as the reconstruction has begun, including some painting, we have refitted some of the ironwork. Recently added some shots of the progress on current projects, plus a few of other work - including the first public showing of the completed Sentinel DG8 during an event (spring 2014) at Beamish. These will be unveiled gradually over the next few days, after their captions, keywords and so on have all been added; some will then appear as group contributions.

The main item requiring attention, at least for the next few months, will be the restoration of the convict van from the Peterhead Quarry Railway, which will arrive soon after NSR61 returns home to Staffordshire. Some further work will be carried out on NER70 concurrently. Finally, after much attention to tiny details we are finally finishing the painting and finer points on NSR 61. Soon, we will be able to wave the carriage away on the long journey home - to meet the one we did earlier (NSR 127) which is now back in Staffordshire. In the meantime much effort had been expended in searching for our next projects, all will be revealed in due course. Although most of the recent additions to my Ipernity stream have featured either NSR 61 or the Miller Fifer, I have also retrieved and uploaded a few images related to other subjects. After I have done the titles, descriptions, keywords and organised them into their albums, I shall put them out to view. This may take a little while, but as a bonus for re-visiting / waiting patiently, there are a few missing images of more recent work on NSR61 that I will need to upload, as well.

We have now exchanged NSR127 for NSR61, and work is already underway........including on the doors, have a look at the album....... I have just (2013 Aug 28 1515) finished adding and allowing viewing of something in the region of 25 images, there will be more of NSR127 - showing the arrival and unveiling at Blythe Bridge - to upload shortly (sorting out a copyright release). Sunday 21st July 2013 - I have just begun adding over 70 images, mostly of recent work and events. These will become visible gradually; as I complete their descriptions, tags/keywords and sort them into albums etc, over the next few hours. Having transplanted my existing images, sorted them into albums and re-created the album (set) description / commentary........Now I can carry on with the normal service !
