Grew up in Switzerland, lived in San Francisco for nearly three decades, now one hour north in Santa Rosa.

I enjoy photography, but I'm primarily a writer, with many other interests, and I still work part-time, so I shoot mostly "on the go", with my iphone.

I truly appreciate this community, even if I don't always have the time to participate as much as I would like.

The photographers I admire most are those who make me see something in a new way. Mere technical excellence is less interesting to me. I am allergic to super-saturated images, so if that's your style, I probably won't be following you.
