Something different from my recent shots. HFF. Explored.

Port Pirie is an industrial country town in South Australia, built around a smelter. Extensive use has been made of metal sheeting for both buildings and fences. Other earlier images from Port Pirie in the notes. HFF!

Minerals arrive and metal departs.... Another at the Port Pirie smelter for the 'industrials' enthusiasts. :) In the background, the southern end of the Flinders Ranges (didn't get there this time).

By way of something different..... Industrial scene at the Port Pirie smelter, the world's largest lead smelter (also processing various other minerals).

One of Australia's tallest smokestacks, at 205 metres, dominates the landscape around Port Pirie in Sth Australia. Explored.
