Blocked entry to chancel aisle from transept, almost cathedral scale.arch to left led to transeptal chapel, a c15 altar was built in front of the aisle arch and three small doorways cut through to allow rood stair access behind it.

ruined chancel arcade from n.e., showing blocked aisle arch into transept with blocked triforium opening above, the transept also had a small chapel in the corner between aisle and transept., just off to the right here.

the top of the tower fell in 1830 and has been rebuilt blind in the 1960s.

the arcades of the c14 nave are on a scale to suit the regal work at the east end, but there money seems to have run out, with a somewhat impoverished clerestory setting small lights above the columns, allowing a lower roof.
