Taking shots for another infrared timelapse. Got one full cycle of the gondola going up to Lomnicky Stit and back down.

View from Skalnate Pleso, the transfer point on the gondola ride up to Lomnicky Stit. If you look closely at the lower middle portion of the frame, you can get a sense of the scale of destruction caused by the freak windstorm of 2004. Fortunately, it will all grow back in time.

Skalnate Pleso (which appropriately translates as Rocky Mountain Lake) and the base of Lomnicky Stit (Lomnisky Peak). For scale, the tiny red dot near the center is the shuttle-bus-sized gondola to the peak.
