This group of photos was taken on a disappointingly grey afternoon, following a bright frosty morning, during which I had other commitments! So these are mainly records of what was about, rather than sharp wildlife portraits. Now I know what is there, hopefully, a bright day will come along when I can get some better shots.

Although quite distant, I think that the main flock of birds consists mainly of Lapwings. They seemed to take off from one of the fields to the east of Mill Creek, currently flooded.
