Phil Sutters' photos with the keyword: still life

This is the view through a window above eye-level as I sit at the breakfast table. There are ornaments on the window sill - two decorative jugs - two cut glass vases and an orrery-style desk mobile.. The image has been given a granular look in Photoshop, divided into five panels, then each panel has been treated to a different 'color gradient'. This effect clears the original colours and replaces the various tones or shades that remain with a palette of several different colours - one for each shade.

Squaring up the perspective meant doing some work on the ornaments, to return them to roughly their correct proportions.

As I sat eating my toast, I thought 'That might be the basis for some interesting images'.
