Last year's guide told us all about the Enigma machine, code breaking and computing at Bletchley Park. This year's guide focused on what it was like to work there during the war. 75% of the workers were women, and the average age was 20.

Re-enactors

There used to be a carpark here. They've recently done excavation work and discovered the foundation of Hut 2, which as where the workers could go to buy snacks, cigarettes and beer.

Monument to those who worked at Bletchley Park to break the German codes during World War II. They are credited with shortening the war by two years. Many of the codebreakers were women.
