Grade I listed building. It was the headquarters of the National Institute for Social Work Training, part of the settlement movement. Built between 1896 and 1898, the building is located on Tavistock Place, between Tavistock Square and Marchmont Street. Now a conference centre.

The first public drinking fountain in London, a gift of Sam Gurney M.P. in 1859. Erected on Holborn Hill (now Snow Hill), removed when Holborn Viaduct was constructed in 1867.
