Nelson Rolihlahla Mandela ("Madiba")

In Hamburg (Germany) today all public buildings are flagged at half-mast and added with a crape. This won´t happen this much at all, and it´s even more rare when a non german guy died far away from Germany. The last time this happened was the day after September 11th 2001. The funeral service was shown live on public TV, simultaneously translated. Today people all over the world remembering a great guy who has died at December 5th after a long illness, after fighting for equal rights for everyone. The used cite Never, never and never again shall it be that this beautiful land will again experience the oppression of one by another and suffer the indignity of being the skunk of the world was said by Mandela after he got voted as first black president of Southafrica at 10. May 1994 in Pretoria: www.anc.org.za/nelson/show.php?id=3132 Used items: Hamburg symbol in the background: By Hamburg (http://www.hamburg.de/wappen/) [Public domain], via Wikimedia Commons Signature of Mandela: By Connormah, Nelson Mandela [Public domain], via Wikimedia Commons
