I spotted this piece of black-painted wooden trellis against a very old brick wall in the Bishop's Palace Gardens in Chichester, West Sussex. I liked the green foliage, especially the one climbing up the trellis, and the lovely light and shadows.

Taken on the seafront in Old Portsmouth, Hampshire.

Whilst sitting outside on a bench in our local shopping centre waiting for my wife and daughter, I noticed this mannequin and it's shadow in the window display. A quick conversion to black and white and a play with some filters, resulted in this final image.

Just experimenting with light and shadow indoors........the point of light in the centre of the shot was added in post processing for effect.

Amazing how similar my shadow is to my wife's shadow :-)) I'm the one with the camera!

I spotted this stylised representation of a fish on the side of a building in Old Portsmouth, Hampshire. it's around 12 inches long. I added a texture to the fish and shadow in post processing. It reminds me of the Christian symbol you sometimes see on houses, car stickers etc. Whether this is what is intended, I have no idea. I just liked the shape and the shadow :-)

Table-top photography in the garden yesterday. I'm reasonably happy with this one. I wish I'd left a bit more space at the bottom of the frame, but I can't shoot it again, 'cos I ate the pear :-))

I took this poignant image in my local cemetery yesterday afternoon. The light was quite harsh and I considered lightening up the shadows but eventually decided to leave them quite dark. Although I'm not religious I quite like visiting cemeteries - they are usually very peaceful places. Our one is quite old and part of it is now managed as a wildflower meadow. I got quite a few images I was happy with including some Fungi, one of which I've posted along with this one.
