This is the Strand City Map and Mural in Southsea, Hampshire. I think it's a brilliant piece of work. If you look closely, you'll see my wife hiding among the characters :-))
This mural evolves over time.............see the link for details: www.youtube.com/watch?v=zqm_POvc3jo&feature=youtu.be
Thanks to Roger Whitehead for the link :-)

Part of a large wall mural in Southsea, Hampshire. The are five of these shapes - all variations on a theme, but due to parked cars etc, I could only get one in the frame. The artist seems to be "Emmika".
The last time I visited this wall, it looked like this: www.ipernity.com/doc/keithburton/42342180/in/album/385223

Spotted this on a large electrical junction box on the Promenade at Emsworth Harbour, Hampshire. No idea as to it's meaning, but I've since seen several versions of this dog in other local towns. Artist unknown.

With a Union Flag painted on the front and a mural painted on the side by artist David Whittley depicting local characters - this pub really stands out. A former landlord was Leading Seaman William Odgers VC who was decorated during the Maori Wars in 1860.
