Lee Harvey Oswald shot JFK from the square window on the 6th Floor of this building in November 1963.

If there was a second shooter at the JFK assassination, he is supposed to have fired from behind the wooden fence shown here. Incidentally, the famous "Zapruder Film" was shot from on top of the small white wall shown in this picture.
