"My allergies! This ragweed is killing me!" If you say that, be sure you're blaming the right plant. Ragweed and Goldenrod, pictured above, bloom at the same time and are often found in the same areas. Ragweed absolutely causes allergies to flare, but the milder Goldenrod shouldn't be blamed. Goldenrod causes neither hay fever nor allergies.
