Five years ago I moved to the new place during a horrendous blizzard. Despite being hyper careful about transporting my tender houseplants, all my Christmas Cactus suffered from the shock of the bitter cold, and all of my plants lost most of their stems right down to the quick. It's taken this long for this particular plant to recover and finally bloom.

I just treated myself to a "real" macro lens, and so far I love it! I can't wait to get some spider shots this summer...

This Christmas Cactus belonged to a client of the business I work for. Sadie will be missed dearly by all of us, but we'll think of her whenever this magnificent plant blooms.

I've owned this plant for four years. It was in bloom when I purchased it, but hasn't bloomed since - until now. I feel a bit like Dr. Frankenstein; I let this cactus fade to near death, then jolted it back to life with a new window and overwatering ~ voilà! It's covered with buds. :)

Yet another of my Christmas Catus plants is in bloom!

Sick in bed all day...again! Stupid colds. *grumble, grumble*
