I happened to catch this conjunction of the moon and Venus when I was using my high school's yearbook camera - a Konica Autoreflex TC. I was the yearbook photographer that year, my senior year.
Camera: Konica Autoreflex TC
Lens: Konica Hexanon AR 50mm f/1.7

I was taking out the trash earlier tonight and looked up and saw Venus and the moon close together. So I set up my camera on a tripod and got a shot of this conjunction.

There was a conjunction of the Moon and the planet Jupiter tonight and this shot is from about an hour ago, just after the sky had gotten good and dark. Jupiter is just below and slightly to the right of the Moon. You can also see three of Jupiter's moons as well.
For the Saturday Self-Challenge group, whose theme this week was "Deep Depth Of Field." The Moon is 238,855 miles away from Earth, while Jupiter is approximately 600 million miles away from Earth. Since both the Moon and Jupiter are in sharp focus, there is 600 million miles worth of depth of field. I doubt anyone else in the challenge this week has more depth of field than that!
I thought of this idea almost immediately this past Sunday, when I heard what the challenge subject was going to be; but I had to wait until tonight, just before the time to post my entry, before I could even take my picture. It stormed and was cloudy until about 7 p.m., so I'm sure glad the skies cleared up or I wouldn't have had an entry!
Oh, yeah: Conjunction Junction .

This is the conjunction of the moon and Saturn I photographed a little over an hour ago. Taken on July 16th, 2019 with a Sony Alpha SLT-a77v with a Minolta AF Zoom 70-210mm f/4.5 zoom lens. It was raining and cloudy the day before and the day after I took this image, but there was a small break in the cloud cover for about 15 minutes that allowed me to get this shot.

This was a conjunction of the moon and Jupiter, just after midnight a couple nights ago. It was taken at 1.05 a.m. on July 14th, 2019. I think they were closer together the night before, but I hadn't heard of it then to look for it. There is a note in the lower right corner to show where Jupiter was in relation to the moon.
