1954 Chevrolet 210 Two-Door Sedan

This was a picture of the 1954 Chevy I had back in the early 1980's. You can see a dent just below the right tail light, the tail light housing and the back window on that side are all damaged. I had driven it up to where I worked and left it overnight because I was going to do some work on it the next day, a Saturday. What I think happened was that someone came speeding around the corner of the back of my work building and didn't expect a car to be parked there and hit it in the rear end. They must have gotten mad then taken it out on the car and broke the window glass. I turned it in to the local police, but of course, they never came up with a single lead. It was a very tall car for me, being 6 feet and 3 inches tall, and had plenty of headroom. It had plenty of space everywhere, actually. They don't make them like this anymore. It got around 26 miles to a gallon of gas and had the old 235 straight 6 in it. Those were good engines! I've got one out in my shop right now, to put in my late father's 1950 Chevy. This is the Mercury I had a couple years back. Man, it had every option and it rode well. I hated to get rid of it.
