I got my new wheels and tires put on today. They were from a 1996 Volvo station wagon. I think they look much better than the factory wheels that came on it - those were some of the ugliest wheels I've ever seen.

Mercury

Just a quick snapshot with my Samsung L100 little digital point and shoot camera I picked up a couple years back for $1.50. It didn't appear to work until I was tinkering around with it today and it powered up! So, I had to take a couple images with it so I could say I used another camera in my collection. This is just the front end of my Mercury Sable wagon - not much to shoot at when it's nearly dark.

Another angle of my new car. This shows the worst spot on the body - a crack in my plastic bumper. I wish cars had real bumpers again.

Here's my new station wagon all polished up on the outside. Next to tackle that filthy interior!

1996 Mercury Sable LS Wagon

My new car - it's a 1996 Mercury Sable LS wagon. It's the sister car of my 1996 Ford Taurus GL wagon, although the better dressed sister of the two. My Ford is the base model and this Mercury is the top model. I still haven't had much time to look it over as it was almost dark when I got it home and then my neighbors had a bonfire cookout afterward. But, tomorrow, I'm going to start looking it over and clean it up on the inside and outside.

A great looking Mercury Sable station wagon, the sister car to the Ford Taurus. It looks to be a 1996 model.

1956 Mercury Montclair

A 1956 Mercury Montclair I saw at a car show held in Norris City, Illinois, on May 25th, 2014. I posted this shot of the whole car for those curious what it actually looked like after seeing my last post of part of it.
