Another misty morning and another autumn image of Loch Carron at Plockton, A large view perhaps, HFF and a good weekend.

Bright sun and strong shadows for this image of Loch Carron which is a sea loch on the west coast of Ross and Cromarty,Scotland, This is captured from Plockton which is one of the countries most scenic coastal villages, HBM and a good week to all!

Stromferry Slipway, There is no ferry any more, however when a rockfall closed the A890 near Strathcarron Tunnel this was used to ferry cars and foot passenger across from Strome until the rocks were stabilised many weeks later. The vessel used was the boat from the Glenelg ferry during it closed season.

A Loch side garden in the beautiful village of Plockton provides the foreground for this 2019 archive image of Loch Carron, It was one of the many Herring fishing ports in the area but is now a popular tourist village, In addition, television series and scenes from the Wicker man were filmed here HBM and a good week,,,,,,,,,,,,,image quality may stand enlargement!

Another image from the beautiful village of Plocton, this time Loch Carron is at high water, The white houses last appeared as squiggle and blob reflections in a previous post, In 16.9 format so a large view would be appreciated HWW, I will continue to catch up as when time and an internet connection permits
