Another delve into the archives for this week's fence, this was June 2014 in Glen Etive and the remnants of the previous winter's snow can still be seen on the distant mountains,
These are the normal means of crossing fences in this part of the Highlands.
HFF and a great weekend

An overcast day and view through the lush Glen Etive towards the just out of shot Loch Etive,
The fence height would indicate it is designed to keep Deer in and prevent them coming to harm on the A82 Trunk Road, which is only a few miles back up the track
This glen has twelve miles of magnificent Scottish scenery. From vast moorlands and incredible mountains, to clear lochs and stunning valleys,
It has also been used in James Bond's Skyfall and as a Braveheart film location.
(from the archives), After today my visits may be intermittent for a short while, but I will catch up soon as.

Still sorting old images, I'm now up to 2012, this is the River Etive close to the point it flows into Loch Etive, the view is looking back up the glen towards the mountains of Glencoe,

Another from the archive as I'm a little short of time at the moment, Glen Etive in mid summer although the distant peaks still hold more than a little snow.
