Had a rummage in the recent archives, and discovered this shot of a Summer afternoon at Port Logan Bay, (Port Neasaig in Gaelic) It's not busy for mid-July.

A beautiful day turned into an atmospheric late afternoon in Portpatrick which is located on the west coast of the Rhins of Galloway It was also the principal port for goods and mail traffic to Ireland from the 17th century

Captured at low tide, Port Logan, formerly Port Nessock, is a small village in the Rhins of Galloway. In 1818 Colonel Andrew MacDowall erected a quay and bell tower/lighthouse which was designed by Thomas Telford. The Gaelic name is Port Neasaig,
