Bridge over the Bannock Burn, (1pip)

The Bannock Burn is a stream which rises at about 1,300 feet on Touchadam Moor, in the Touch Hills to the south-west of Stirling in central Scotland. The Bannock flows eastward and enters the River Forth to the east of Stirling, close to the site of the Battle of Bannockburn, which was fought on 23–24 June 1314, between the army of Robert the Bruce, King of Scots, and the army of King Edward II of England, This is an area called North Third and the trees on the right are in Middle third Woods, The pip shows the burn prior to it entering the Woods HWW!

Glencoe!

12 Jul 2023 45 84 259
The watercourse tumbling down into the valley is a bit of a tongue twister, "Allt Coire nam Beitheach" and it flows into the River Coe just out of shot on the right, this is captured at Achnambeithach Glencoe, Although it was mid-May and the sun was shining, snow still lingered at the top A large view is in my opinion necessary for details. Depending on how large you are able to view but sure-footed sheep are dotted all over the landscape even close to the top! Wish you all a great Friday and a nice weekend. Woodland Walk. HFF

10 Jul 2018 26 46 520
On a really warm day a shaft of strong sunlight penetrates the woodland foliage picking out a fence, bridge and stream, Colours may be a bit off, many difficult dark areas other parts in bright sunlight, Probably need to view large for best of the image,

HFF Elgol.

Not much of a river or bridge I guess but it does have a fence, This is at Elgol on the Isle of Skye and the watercourse flows into Loch Scavaig just behind my vantage point. Enlarge if you wish.
